Laredo Police Arrest Suspect in Daring Eight-Liner Robbery with a Gunpoint

Man charged with armed robbery of eight-liner business and theft of $3,000

On Monday, May 20 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Laredo Police apprehended a man named Raimundo Rodriguez, who was accused of robbing a local eight-liner business at gunpoint. Rodriguez, 51 years old, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to reports, Rodriguez entered the eight-liner business called King Fu and brandished a gun at two employees. He demanded money and then fled the scene with approximately $3,000 in cash stuffed into a garbage bag. However, thanks to surveillance footage and diligent investigative work, authorities were able to identify Rodriguez and track down a vehicle they believed he used during the crime.
